To get your hat size, you’ll need a string and a measuring tape. You can use a ruler in place of the measuring tape, but it’s not as easy.

Wrap the string around the widest part of your head, where your hats usually sit. Then, hold onto the spot where the end of the string meets the middle. Next, lay the string against the measuring tape (or ruler) to determine the circumference of your head.

If the circumference of your head is less than 57 cm or 22.5 inches, then the S/M should fit you. The L/XL is above 57 cm or 22.5 inches.

If you already know your hat size, the S/M is seven and below, while the L/XL is 7.25 and above.

How to Wash

Baseball hats don’t need to be washed very often, but they might need a refresh after being worn to the gym for a month or six.

If you want to wash your hat, avoid putting it in the laundry or the dishwasher. The laundry machines are too hard on the hats’ form, and the dishwasher can damage the hat. In addition, dishwashers use high heat, and dishwashing detergents can contain harsh chemicals, both of which will be bad for your hat.

The best way to wash the cap is to hand-wash it. However, since you likely won’t need to wash it more than a couple of times a year, this won’t be too onerous of a task.

Fill a bucket with cool to warm water and mix in a tablespoon of laundry detergent. Spot clean the dirtiest parts of the hat with a toothbrush or small brush. Be careful around the design to not damage it.

Once the hat has been spot cleaned, let it soak for twenty minutes to a few hours in the soapy water. This will give the water and detergent time to lift out the dirt.

Rinse the hat thoroughly. Then patted the hat dry of excess moisture and air dry with a balloon or small ball inside. You can even use a balled-up towel inside, as long as the hat keeps its form.
